Recently around 100 new international students came to our school from 18 different countries. To facilitate all new international students we did “one stop service”admission procedure, Also the school has arranged a centralized reception point at the international students dormitory building, Pujiang, No -6.

Uni attaches a great importance to welcome new international students, Vice president GONG Jianming called a co-ordination meeting, to be careful and detailed deployment to welcoming new students. The party committee office,
University president office, Party committee propaganda department, Graduate school, Teaching affairs department, Financial department, School safety & security department, Logistic service department, Information department. Logistic service department and the related colleges co-operation, around the new publicity, safety and security, traffic security, Logistic service department has done a lot of work. In order to ensure that the work to welcome new students is carried out.

College of overseas education further improve the new students registration process, Volunteers gave guidance at the airport, school entrance, main road etc; and guideline sign were set up in campus to lead the foreign students to the registration place ; staff from the Finance Department were there at the receiption table,which greatly facilitated the entry procedures of international students; volunteers helped new students to register, and provided convenient and efficient welcome service. This summer, the Department of Logistics Services and the Ministry of Resource Security have also renovated and added equipment to the international student dormitory, further improving the living conditions of the international students.

After the new students enter the school, College of overseas education and related departments will carry out student education activities around the laws and regulations, campus safety, rules and regulations, professional learning and mental health education and other topics, guide foreign students to adapt to a new learning environment as soon as possible, and give insights into the upcoming study and academic career.
