主讲人介绍:

Freek Kapteijn教授是非均相催化和分子筛膜领域的国际知名专家,是全球最早从事分子筛膜的研究者。先后担任法国南锡国立高等矿业学校研究员、阿姆斯特丹大学副教授、代尔夫特理工大学副教授;1999年晋升为“安东尼•范•列文虎克”终身教授,2008-2018年担任催化工程系主任;2019年受聘为代尔夫特理工大学荣誉退休教授。Kapteijn教授长期与Shell、BASF、埃克森美孚、陶氏等国际知名企业开展合作,相关成果发表在Nature Materials、Nature Chemistry、Nature Communications、JACS、Angewandte Chemie等期刊论文600余篇,总引用>42000,H因子为102,连续入选全球高被引科学家,多篇论文获得最佳引用奖;授权欧洲和美国专利共25件。受邀大会报告、主旨报告和学术会议报告130余次。

主要内容:

Catalysis Engineering is the discipline where via an integrated approach optimal catalytic reactor or process operations are developed, from catalyst development on the nanoscale to reactor application on the macroscale. A major objective is process intensification, energy and atom efficiency, i.e. substantial reduction in energy consumption in combination with improved productivity and selectivity. Structured reactors and catalyst internals are often the basis of this optimization as this allows to decouple phenomena that determine the overall performance. Next to a brief overview of the fields of activities throughout the years, two topics will be focused on, namely (zeolite) membranes and structured catalysts, illustrated by applications.
