Short Biography:

Dr. Rui ZHU received his B.S. degree from Nanjing University in 2003 and Ph.D. degree from Fudan University in 2008, working on organic light-emitting materials and devices. From 2007 to 2009, he worked on the solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells and electrospinning technologies at the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a research fellow. Then, he joined Prof. Yang Yang's group at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as a postdoctoral researcher. Since 2013, he has been working at Peking University as an associate professor in the School of Physics. His current researches focus on the novel photovoltaic materials and devices, transparent conductors, and interface modification technologies. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 research papers. Some of his research works have been feathered by Science, MIT Technology Review, MaterialsToday, etc. His publication on ACS Nano in 2012 has been selected as "Breakthrough Science" by ACS.
