Research Interests
1. Research on the insertion reaction of small gas molecules (such as sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitric oxide, etc.);
2. Preparation of semiconductor composite photocatalytic materials and their applications in complex organic reaction systems;
3. Free radical chemistry and asymmetric catalytic reactions mediated by free radicals;
4. Diversity-oriented synthesis strategy to construct a library of small molecule compounds with important bioactive skeletons, and to develop important lead compounds in new drug research and development.
Academic achievements
The main research areas of this group include free radical chemistry, small gas molecule insertion reactions, and diversity-oriented synthesis of natural small molecule compounds. So far, more than 30 papers have been published in journals such as Angelw Chem Int. Ed; Org. Lett; Chem Commun., with over 2300 citations. Prof. Zheng’s H-index is 24, and several papers have been highlighted by Synfacts and the academic website Organic Chemistry Portal.
